Kindergarten Cristo Vive
Provides free education and food for 160 children from the
ages of 2 to 5 years who are in social risk and come from the Población Villa Mercedes and
neighboring populations from the municipality of Renca. Also, works with
parents and the communities of the area.
Personnel: 14 hired professionals, among teachers and assistants, a social worker,
service personnel, and 4 volunteers.
Financing:
Junta Nacional de Jardines Infantiles (JUNJI) and supporting donations.
Needs: Financing for the kindergarten due to limited subsidies of expenses by JUNJI.

Nursery and Kindergarten Naciente
Provides free education and food to 350 children from the ages of 3 months to 5 years
who come from poor families principally from the population Héroes de la Concepción in Recoleta.
Established:
August 1973. The center belonged to the Christian community of the population
for the first four years; later it was a dependent of the Fundación Mission. Since 1992,
it has been an institution with its own legal standing, supported by Fundación Cristo Vive
in its direct management and financing.
Personal: Personnel: 35 hired professionals, among educators and assistants, differential education assistants, administrative and service personnel, and more than 15 volunteers. 35 personas contratadas, entre educadoras y auxiliares de párvulos, auxiliares de educación diferencial, personal administrativo y de servicios más 15 voluntarios. Invstment: 350.000.000 CP ($700,000 US) supported by our friends Chiles Kinder and the government of Luxemburg for the center’s recent re-construction, which replaced the huts that served as classrooms, some for over 30 years. Personnel: 11 hired professionals and 4 volunteers. Investment: Property loaned by the municipality of La Pintana, 100.000.000 CP ($200,000 US) provided by Chiles Kinder, Kindermissionwerk, and Kontaktgruppe. Welcomes and educates free of charge 41 young children from the poor area of El Barrero, a sector of significant poverty and destitution.
Personel:
6 hired professionals and 2 volunteers.
Physical Resources:
The foundation repaired it´s facilities with funds from the State,
acquired by the Parents´ Center of the neighboring Kindergarten Las Araucarias.
Financing:
Contributions from the Junta Nacional de Jardines Infantiles
Needs:
Financing of operational costs since JUNJI does not finance all of the expenses.

Free attention to 30 mentally or physically disabled youth who don’t have access
to special schools or rehabilitation centers. Attention is given all day and
includes feeding, physical therapy, and health presentations with the support
of the Family Health Center Cristo Vive.

4 employees, a professional disability therapist, differential education and physical
therapy assistants, and volunteers.
Financing: Support from Hogar de Cristo and supporting donations.
Needs:
